Passive and permanent surface protection in hospitals

Hospital acquired infections are a serious threat. Even more stringent hygiene policies couldn't solve the problem of these so called nosocomial infections.

CopperProtect™ provides a solution against nosocomial pathogens. The copper-based AntiGermFoil™ is highly effective against the Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus. The strong antimicrobial effect is tested and certified by the Hohenstein Institute. Furthermore CopperProtect adds an extra passive and permanent protection against germs to the usage of common active antiseptics.

The foil is suitable for mounting on all types of surfaces - particularly useful on door plates, door handles, switches and buttons. In addition, all surfaces that staff, patients and visitors often touch or come into contact have the potential of spreading germs and should therefore be made antimicrobial.
